| This new photo collaboration between Alan Mercer and me was meticulously planned with a specific outcome in mind. We wanted to cover some new ground and show a side of me not yet seen. Call it retro-contemporary, or, perhaps, back to the future, but we wanted to photograph a new synthesis of modern in yo' face sexiness and Hollywood classic glamour beauty: Lana Turner, Jean Harlow, Mae West, Marlena Dietrich, and Greta Garbo.
