May 2003--From the Spring edition of L.A. Confidential magazine, on newsstands now. This shot was taken in December of 1956 at a party given by syndicated columnist Walter Winchell. Marilyn was invited this night too, but didn't show up. It would have been a rare evening with all three of the Three M's under one roof.

Two more M's in a newspaper shot sent to me by a fan. But never all three M's at the same time.

Palm Springs New Years 2003

Outside our villa at the Estrella Inn, the pool reflected the stars on New Year's Eve.

Thomas and me ready to party.

Our host Jamie Kabler posing with his Clockwork Orange statue Christmas gift.

Jamie is on the far right, his brother from Virginia on the far left, and the two handsome young men with me are Jamie's twin nephews.

Jamie and I are well into the party. Jamie reserved a room at the exclusive St. James on Palm Canyon Drive. Food and champagne flowed.

Mamie's Hollywood:
The Early Days

These are never before seen photographs of Mamie, shot at Universal just days after she received her contract at age 20. They speak for themselves. Universal was certainly aware that they had found a gem. Many thanks to David Wills for the photos.
