West Hollywood June 12, 2005 I was so thrilled to accept an invitation to ride in the Gay Pride Parade this year. Alan Eichler, my publicist and long-time friend arranged the details, right down to ordering up some fabulous cloudy weather! I rode in a gorgeously restored 1952 Chevy Belaire convertible owned by Lee Hoffman. Those pipes sounded sooooo sweet! And the back seat reminded me of all those steamy nights of my misspent youth. It was truly one great time. I had all my posse with me: Alan Eichler, Alan's partner Ralph, Alan Mercer, David Wills, Skip E.  Skip and me posing with this lovely lady who is featured prominently in an historical photograph. She is the nurse in the famous VE Day photograph that appeared on the cover of Life Magazine at the end of WW II. It's a shame my head is covering the photos. Sorry!
