Midsummer Night's Dream Party
Playboy Mansion
August 7, 2005

Last night was the best Playboy Mansion party of them all: Midsummer Night's Dream. Here I am all tarted up and rarin' to go. I love summer--long, hot days, long, hot nights--and Hef always knows how to throw a party. This year's totally kicked ass! The decor was exotic, the champagne was flowing, the was food fabulous, and the girls and boys were as hot as the summer evening. The dancing went on until the wee hours. Celebs in attendance included Tom Hanks, Terry Moore, Jane Russell, Jerry Buss (L.A. Lakers owner and my long time friend), Julie Strain, several basketball players didn't know, and naked playmates galore. Hef looked young as ever and was once more the gracious host.

The Eve Kitten Party

Here's a gallery of photos from the exciting Eve Kitten party in West Hollywood. The place was the Phyllis Morris Interior Design Gallery on Robertson in West Hollywood. The people were a fascinating mix of New York and Hollywood artists, designers, photogs, and the people who love them. The theme in the gallery was, er, beds, and who better to try out a new, humongous double-double wide bed than me. All the photos here are by the wonderfully talented Alan Mercer. You can see more of Allen's shots HERE and HERE!

Stand and deliver. The photogs want their shots with plenty of glamour and glitz.

The Phyllis Morris gallery had a fabulous collection of items more art than glamour furniture. One of a kind pieces that you would just love to live with. This red couch looked enticing for a moment's rest and a great shot.

Check this gold wall and green couch! This is hot!

Beautiful stripes on a restored French chair always make a girl look chic.

Bobby Trendy stopped to add a touch of color to the event and we dished the dirt for a while on this canopy bed.

Greg Firlotte was one of the organizers and hosts of the event.

I truly loved this gold mirror...

...and the oversized desk in front of it. It just wouldn't fit in my Lexus, even with the top down.

Jamie Adler is the artist responsible for many of the designs at the party. Many of them BIG.

Nancy Bacich is the artist who draws the cartoon character, Eve Kitten. When I asked her who the inspiration for it was, she said, "Why, you, Mamie."

Jamie Adler's double-double wide bed. Now that's a BED. Come join me!
