![]() Circa 1954, Edward G. Robinson--the worlds best bad guy. This was taken at MaCambo in Hollywood, but I visited him many times on the set of a movie he made at Universal. We became very good friends, but his kisses always tasted of cigar smoke. A lovely, kind man.
![]() A cast picture of "Once Upon a Time" at Ben Bard's Drama School theater. It was my first lead in a play. The skinny guy sitting next to me in the center was the director, Aaron Spelling. I did two more plays that Aaron directed. Shortly after this I did "Come Back Little Sheba" (not directed by Aaron) and was discovered by a Universal talent scout.
![]() Albert "Zuggy" Zugsmith, my favorite Producer/Director (and one of the first "Indy" producers) threatening me with a pie in the face between scenes during the filming of "Girl's Town" at MGM. Also in this movie one of my favorite singers, Paul Anka. I sang the title song which Paul wrote.
