Thanksgiving Day

What could be more "California" than having Thanksgiving Dinner on the beach? That's what I did this year, at Chimayo's in Surf City, Huntington Beach. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and a bottle of good Napa Valley Red. Ummm! Now back to Pilates!

Naturally, I was with my two favorite guys: Perry...

...and Thomas. It was a great day in paradise!

Today was cold and windy, and seemed like a good day to do a little advance holiday shopping. It was off to (where else but) Christian Dior at South Coast Plaza. I used restraint and only filled one shopping bag.

Guillermo Vilela photographed me in 1989 in my suite at the Residence Maxim in Paris.

My suite (the Sarah Bernhardt suite) at Maxim's overlooked the Eiffel Tower, so my hairdresser made an Eiffel Tower in my hair. I don't know if this beautiful book, published by BiFi, is available in the U.S., but if you can find it, it contains fabulous pictures of celebrities in their hotel suites.

"An up-and-coming young L.A. fashion designer named Puimond asked me to do some photos wearing his new line of Fetish Wear. I'd never really shot anything in corseletts, and because it seemed like a good excuse to shoot with my phavorite photographette, Julie, I said yes. Below are some videos we shot during the photo session. In a few days, I'll post some of Julie's photos. They're always spectacular! I know you'll love them!"

"I started my career doing pin-up pictures before I ever got into movies. I love the sense of glamour and tease in pin-ups, and I have tried to recapture that in these photos. Here is a tribute to Alberto Vargas (who I'm proud to say I posed for) and all the other great pin-up photographers down through the years, shot by my great pal Julie Strain.
